1. Navigate to Settings from the bottom of the Android Menu

  2. Or navigate to Device Settings from the bottom of the Sling Menu

  3. Select the Apps tile from the Device ribbon

  4. Select the App

  5. Select Force Stop

  6. Confirm Force Stop by pressing OK
